Cherished classic cars filled the centre of Truro last Sunday, giving visitors a chance to get up close and appreciate the wonderful and stylish machinery that were on show.
Taking place on Lemon Quay, The Truro Classic Car Show had a variety of vehicles present along with host of automobilia and autojumble stalls for visitors to enjoy while walking around to the backdrop of live music provided by The Velvets and True Foxes.
Plenty of British marques were represented at the event, including legendary names such as Aston-Martin, Rolls-Royce, Jaguar, Morgan Triumph and Rover.
There were also a number of Mini’s in attendance including a green Morris Mini made famous by Mr Bean who’s cardboard cutout stood by his beloved car on the day.
Exotic European and American cars took to the Piazza too with Ferrari, Porsche and Lancia to name but a few being part of last weekend’s treat for car-lovers.
‘Whistling Billy’, a 1905 White steam racer attracted a lot of attention from people of all ages wanting to learn about it’s history and the mechanics behind it.
The Truro Classic Car Show was hosted by Truro BID and in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support where members of the charity could be seen fundraising throughout the day.
