SALTASH Town Council is undertaking a six month trial of CCTV in the town centre to gather data and information.
A 4G camera has been installed on a lighting column located outside Saltash Barbers on Fore Street.
It is reported that the camera will be recording for 24 hours a day and the live feed will be monitored by Plymouth City Council at their monitoring centre.
