A TEENAGER from Camborne is one of two people who have been charged in connection with the death of a 16 year old schoolgirl in an Exeter nightclub.
Lucy Hill, of Exmouth, died in December 2022 after taking ecstasy and collapsing at the Move nightspot on Exeter quay.
At the time police said a number of teenagers may have taken tablets containing unknown substances during the club's 16 to 18 music night.
Police confirmed that two 18 year old youths have been charged with being concerned with the supply of Ecstasy and the supply of a class A drug.
They are Taylor Rowsell, of Rosebery Road, Exmouth, and James Greaves, of Basset Road, Camborne. They have been bailed to appear before Exeter magistrates next month.
An 18 year old Exmouth woman who was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug had been given an adult caution for the offence.
No further action is being taken against another 18-year-old Exmouth woman who was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
Lucy was a pupil at Exmouth Community College who said at the time of her death: “Lucy was a kind, considerate, beautiful person. She was very well liked by her peers and the staff who knew her well."
