BUSINESSES in Nansledan are county the cost after being targeted by crooks.

Burglars broke into Ladyvale Bakery at Chi Tennyson causing damage before stealing money sometime between January 11 and 13.

There was also an attempted break-in at KM Aesthetics at Chi, Woles, at around the same timeframe, which caused damage to the property.

A police spokesperson said: “Police were notified following reports of a burglary and criminal damage in the Nansledan area.

“Between 5pm on Saturday, January 11 and 9am on Monday 13 January damaged was caused to a business unit in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.

“During a similar timeframe entry was forced into a commercial premises and property taken.

“At this time, there are no viable lines of enquiry however if further evidence comes to light the incident can be re-visited.”
