Charlestown National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) has received a donation of more than £3,000 from the RAOB (Buffaloes).

The money was raised through the Buffaloes’ PGP Mid Cornwall 2023 Appeal.

Fundraising collections took place at various locations, including in St Austell, through the year.

The Buffaloes also held casino nights, auctions and raffles. In addition, money was raised through a 12-mile sponsored sea kayak paddle.

Donations came in, as well, from the Buffaloes lodges in Mid Cornwall.

A giant cheque for a total of £3,057.90 was given to NCI manager Richard Parks at a presentation in Charlestown Church Hall.
