BRAVE surfers tackled Newquay’s big wave spot on Saturday morning.

Owen Stoneman, Pete McNichol and Andrew Douglas were among the surfers who rode the Cribbar.

A crowd gathered at the Towan Headland to watch the surfers take lefts and rights at the notorious reef break.
