BODYBOARDING enthusiasts are being given the opportunity to meet a world champion bodyboarder in Newquay and help raise money for charity.

Bodyboard Holidays in Fore Street is staging an evening with Jeff Hubbard at the Oceanside Hotel in aid of the RNLI on Saturday, June 1, at 7pm.

The esteemed bodyboarding champion from Kauai, Hawaii, who is known for his revolutionary style and innovative manoeuvres, boasts an impressive record, with three IBA World Championship titles and five IBA Pipeline Pro wins.

The special event will feature an engaging Q&A session where attendees will have the unique opportunity to interact with Jeff, ask questions, and gain first hand insights into his illustrious career.

Enthusiasts will be able to discover Jeff’s journey, his contributions to the sport, including co-founding the renowned bodyboard brand Hubboards with his brother Dave Hubbard, and hear captivating stories from his global adventures in search of the perfect waves.

The event marks the kickoff of Bodyboard Holidays' forthcoming events with Jeff Hubbard, including a bodyboard coaching weekend in Newquay between June 1 and 2, followed by an international trip to Portugal from July 14 to 21.
