With Halloween fast approaching, it is to be expected that sightings of cats in unusual places isn’t beyond the unexpected.

However, for one unfortunate Bodmin feline, being stuck in a tree was something of an inconvenience to its day, until it was rescued by some hero builders.

Odin found himself the subject of both concern and a-mew-sment after the incident, which saw builders from D.A.Giles, working nearby, help the cat out of the tree.

Lily and Scarlett, Odin’s owners, said they wanted to thank the duo from D.A.Giles for their help in rescuing him from the tree.

Odin is believed to be unscathed and unbothered after the incident, given only paws for thought, and a condition reported as being ‘purr-fect’.
