THERE were beaming smiles as Treviglas Sixth Form students learned their A Level and BTEC examination results on Thursday.
Students opened their exam result envelopes surrounded by parents, friends, and staff who were eagerly awaiting to hear their grades.
A spokesperson for Treviglas Sixth Form, said: “With a consistently high pass rate, Treviglas Sixth Form students have once again demonstrated their proficiency across a wide range of subjects.
“These outcomes reflect the dedication and hard work of students and staff that have led to remarkable results, emphasising Treviglas Sixth Form’s ongoing commitment to creating an environment where every student can thrive.”
Several students have already secured offers from prestigious universities across the country, including Treviglas Sixth Form student E-J, who has accepted her offer from Cambridge University to study Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic studies.
E-J achieved outstanding A’ Level results of Maths A*, English A*, History A, EPQ A. Other fantastic results are Verity who achieved Health and Social Care Distinction, English C, Photography B and EPQ C and has accepted her place at Exeter University to study Nursing.
Bekah has achieved three B’s in Maths, Chemistry and Physics and a Merit in ICT securing her place to study Pharmacy with Bath University at their Plymouth Campus.
All Treviglas Sixth Form students have been offered their first choice university places demonstrating the “phenomenal” results they have achieved. Beyond university placements, several students have also secured highly competitive apprenticeships within the county.
Head of Sixth Form, Joanne Handford, expressed her pride in the students, stating: "Our students have shown tremendous commitment and resilience in developing the skills they need for their future studies and career goals. These results are a reflection of their hard work and determination.
