AN aspiring author from St Austell has written a children’s book called Ralph’s First Christmas.

Former English teacher Michaela Kendall says of her book which features a young puppy: “In a busy household with his loving family, Ralph tries to make sense of Christmas with all of its strange and confusing traditions. In trying to be a good dog, poor Ralph doesn’t always get it right!”

Michaela describes herself as an avid gardener, artist, and dog and nature lover. A wife of nearly 30 years, she is the mother to four adult sons.

Ralph’s First Christmas is published by Austin Macauley Publishers.
