AN appeal has been launched to help a Perranporth family who lost their home and belongings in a fire just before Christmas.

Asher and Dan Hughes who have two daughters have been left with “absolutely nothing” following the electrical blaze.

Friend Abby Brinkworth has launched the GoFundMe campaign to raise some money to get the family some clothes and the girls something for Christmas.

Abby said: “The fire has left the Hughes family with absolutely nothing, including clothes and essentials for their family. It is heartbreaking this has happened just before Christmas.

“This campaign aims to raise funds to help them rebuild, provide some stability, and bring a little joy to their two daughters this holiday season.

“Anything would be appreciated right now whether that’s clothes, money or just support.”
