Crews airlifted a 'poorly child' from Polzeath Beach on August 14 at around 7.20pm.
Polzeath Coastguard Rescue Team were paged to setup a helicopter landing site for the Cornwall Air Ambulance on the beach.
Once on scene team members cleared the beach quickly to enable the circling helicopter to land and then assisted with the transfer of the casualty on board.
This incident was one of seven calls the Cornwall Air Ambulance crew attended on August 14.
A spokesperson confirmed: "Our crew attended seven missions across Cornwall, including to a pediatric medical incident to help a poorly child on Polzeath beach.
"The patient was airlifted to the Royal Cornwall Hospital for further treatment. Our best wishes go out to them"
