DRIVERS in Cornwall are being advised to avoid a section of the A30 as it remains closed this morning (Tuesday, December 17) following a serious road traffic collision.
The collision happened on the A30 between the junction for A3047 (Treswithian) and the junction for A3047 (Camborne) just before 9.30pm last night (Monday, December 16). The eastbound carriageway remains closed whilst police remain at the scene carrying out an incident investigation.
A diversion is in place. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and delay journeys to avoid congestion, especially through this morning’s peak travel period.
Eastbound Diversion: Leave the A30 at Treswithian junction onto A3047, turn left to Rosewarne and then turn left under the A30 to South Tehidy, turn right then right again to rejoin the A30 at Tolvaddon.
