A woman who was found dead inside a property in Illogan has been formally identified as Maleta, known as Milly, Rosevear.

Milly, aged 60 and from Illogan, was located deceased at an address on Churchtown Road on Friday, January 10.

Officers attended an area of the A30 a short time later following concern for the welfare of a man aged in his 50s. The man subsequently fell from a bridge and was declared deceased at the scene.

Detective Inspector Rob Smith said: “We continue to carry out enquiries on behalf of the coroner regarding the events which led to Milly Rosevear’s death, which is being treated as suspicious.

“We are not looking at anyone else in connection with the death. Our thoughts remain with the family and friends.”

The family have asked for privacy at this time.
