OFFICERS investigating the death of a man in Illogan have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
Police were notified by the ambulance service just before 4.20am on Tuesday, November 12 to reports of a man seriously injured at an address on Bosmeor Park, Illogan. Officers attended the address where the man, in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin are aware.
Detective Inspector Rob Smith, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “It is believed all those involved are known to each other, but we are keeping an open mind as to the circumstances surrounding this incident.
“We are appealing for witnesses that could help us with our enquiries, so if there is anyone who has not yet spoken with our officers and has any information, CCTV, or doorbell footage from in and around the immediate area of Bosmeor Park, we would ask them to please get in touch.
“We would also urge people not to speculate on social media about the circumstances around this matter. In the meantime, members of the public will see a heightened police presence in the area over the coming days as our enquiries continue.”
Three people, a woman, aged 61 and two men aged 22 and 38, and all local to the area, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They currently remain in police custody.
A woman, aged 32, has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
