POLICE want to speak to the woman who came to the aid of a man who was reportedly hit and kicked in the head by two teenagers on a beach at Carlyon Bay.

The incident is believed to have taken place at Crinnis Beach, Carlyon Bay, between 5.45pm and 6.30pm on Friday, April 11.

The victim lost consciousness during the incident and was later taken to hospital.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault near St Austell.

“The incident took place at Crinnis Beach, Carlyon Bay, between 5.45pm and 6.30pm on Friday, April 11.

“It was reported a man was approached and verbally abused before being struck and kicked to the head repeatedly by two teenage suspects, causing him to lose consciousness.

“The victim was taken to hospital, but thankfully his injuries are not life-changing or life-threatening.

“Officers investigating the incident are keen to hear from anybody who may have witnessed it, especially a woman who came to the aid of the victim.”
