A MAN has been left with head and face injuries following an alleged assault in Camborne.

Police were called at around 6.45pm on Sunday, November 3, following reports of a man being assaulted in Trelowarren Street, Camborne.

A scene guard was put in place while investigation work was carried out.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson confirmed: “The victim was left with injuries to the head and face and was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.”

A man in his 30s from Camborne has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, two assaults causing actual bodily harm and two thefts. He has been released on police bail.
