Detectives investigating the death of a man in Helston have been granted a warrant of further detention to detain the suspects in custody.
Granted by Bodmin Magistrates’ Court it allows police to detain the suspects for a further 36 hours.
Officers continue to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
Police were making enquiries in the Helston area in the early hours of Wednesday, December 18 following concerns for welfare.
During those enquiries officers located the body of a man in a vehicle in Helston Business Park.
A man in his 60s, from the Avon and Somerset area, was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Two women aged in their 50s and 80s, also from Avon and Somerset, were arrested on suspicion of murder, concealing a death, and preventing a lawful burial. They remain in police custody at this time.
Investigating officers are treating this incident as an isolated matter and are not seeking anyone else. It is believed all involved parties knew each other.
An increased police presence will remain at the business park as enquiries continue.
