EMERGENCY services were called out on three occasions over the weekend after concerns were raised for the welfare of people along the coastline in the Newquay area.
Newquay Coastguard Search and Rescue Team were tasked to assist the ambulance service and the police due to concerns about a man on cliffs by Headland Road on Sunday at 2.35pm.

Officers conducted an area search and located the man in his twenties in Manor Road around 3.10pm.
He was assessed by paramedics and taken home with support measures put in place.
A Coastguard spokesperson said: “After arriving on scene the incident moved inland and the team were consequently stood down.”
In a separate incident police were called following concern for a man reported missing from Newquay on Sunday at 6.50am.
Officers conducted a search of the area and the man was located on cliffs in the Mawgan Porth area around 7.35am.
Newquay and Padstow Coastguard teams were alerted to the incident.
Officers spoke with the man, and he was brought back safely around 8am.
The man in his forties was taken home with health support put in place.
A Coastguard spokesperson said: “Both Coastguard teams were stood down whilst enroute as the incident had been resolved.”
Emergency services were also called out following concern for the welfare of woman in distress on the cliffs at the Barrowfields on Saturday at 12.05pm.

Newquay Coastguard Search and Rescue Team set up for a technical rope rescue with lifeboats at the ready nearby.

Officers spoke at length with the woman, and she was brought to safety around 1.30pm.
She was taken to Treliske Hospital and left in the care of health professionals.
A Coastguard spokesperson said: “Thankfully after a period of time the incident was successfully resolved, and all assets were stood down.”
