Police are investigating after a car was destroyed in a suspicious fire in Madron near Penzance on Boxing Day.

Officers and the fire service were called at 12.35am after a blue Ford Galaxy was set alight at Trelawney Estate. The car was completely destroyed by the fire.
No-one was injured in the incident and the vehicle was unattended at the time.
Police are treating the fire as arson at this time and are carrying out enquiries in the area. They are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or doorbell footage to contact them.
