DETECTIVES are investigating reports of multiple burglaries in West Cornwall which are believed to be linked.

Officers have received seven reports of incidents which are believed to have taken place between Thursday, April 3 and Monday, April 7. The times are yet to be confirmed.

It’s believed that entry has been forced to residential properties, which have been searched and items including cash have been taken.

Three incidents have taken place in Camborne at Weeth Road, Meadow Drive and Holman Avenue, while two incidents were reported at The Paddock in Redruth, as well as on Penhallow Road and Well Way in Newquay.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “The reported circumstances of the burglaries are very similar, and we do believe that they may be linked.

“Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the above locations, have any dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell footage which may assist us, to please get in touch.

“Information can be reported to police via 101 or through our website quoting reference 50250084682.”
